Buda is a city in Hays County, Texas, United States. Its population was 7,295 in 2010 and is expected to increase to 15,108 by 2020. It is a part of the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos metropolitan statistical area and is one of Austin’s fastest-growing suburbs. The residents of the city are known as Budans.
