Museum of the Weird

If you’re a fan of strange things, then a trip to the Museum of the Weird in Austin TX is definitely in your future. Not only will you find a wide range of strange and unusual objects, but you’ll also find an excellent gift shop at the Museum. Here are three reasons you should check it out. First, you’ll find a geothermal dome that looks like a rock formation. Inside the dome are all kinds of interesting and bizarre items, including an assortment of weird electrical parts. Another great post. The dome’s color changes, and it’s worth a visit just for that alone. If you love ominous things, this is definitely a place for you. Once you’re finished, you can take home some cool items from the gift shop.

You may also want to try goat yoga, which is so weird it was even featured on Shark Tank. Goat yoga is probably the weirdest art form in the world, and it’s completely free. The Museum of the Weird in Austin is an excellent place to experience it. There are several exhibits to view, including an X-rated collection of weird art. It’s worth checking out just to laugh at the wackiest things in life.

Another great place to go in Austin is the Museum of Discovery. Located on 6th street, the museum features a small wax museum that focuses on horror movies and even a frozen block of ice that contains a bigfoot-like creature. The museum is open seven days a week, and admission is only $8 for children under eight. You can even book a ghost tour. The museum is closed on Sundays, but it’s open every day.

The Blanton Art Museum houses an ancient NASA mission control console, a WWII-era AT-6 “Texan” airplane, and a long-leaf pine desk once used by Stephen F. Austin. The museum is also home to the largest IMAX theatre in Texas. The Blanton Art Museum has over 18,000 works of art, including ancient sculptures, paintings, and more. You can enjoy a show in the museum’s IMAX theater or explore the city’s history through the iconic performances of Austin City Limits.

If you’re in Austin, don’t miss the state capitol building. You’ll find some truly strange stuff in here, including a statue of Liberty and a Texas child. You’ll also find some interesting and controversial pieces of art, like the Ten Commandments monument and war memorials. The next post. In downtown Austin, make sure to check out the “I Love You So Much” mural. This famous street corner is home to some of the city’s most bizarre artwork. People line up for pictures of the mural. Over 60 tons of junk, reclaimed from various places, has been arranged in a life-sized mural. The museum is home to several works by a famous sculptor.
