Scholarship: Waste Management, Environmental Science, & Sustainability

We take pride in the work we do, and we recognize that the future of our entire industry is in the hands of students. We are searching to award one undergrad student a $500 scholarship to recognize their excellence in innovation for the subjects of waste management, environmental science, and sustainability. Waste removal and management are services that will have an ongoing demand for quite some time, but that doesn’t mean the way in which we choose to dispose of things can’t be more sustainable or improved upon. We are looking to you, the students, to help shape the future of disposal.

One student will be awarded the Rubbish Inc. Scholarship for Innovation in Waste Management Solutions annually.

Applications will be considered from those who:

  • Are currently or will as of the relevant school year be attending an accredited college or university
  • Have an interest in solid waste management research and sustainability
  • Have a GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

The Prompt
